James Archer Pike is a systems engineer at a major aerospace/defense firm with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Master’s in Information Technology (Systems Engineering). Based in Central Florida, he has been married for 25 years and has two daughters. A self-described history, alternate history, mystery, and science fiction nerd, he has interests spanning the Roman Empire, the American Civil War, and the universe of Star Trek. Influenced by Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Winston Churchill, Eric Flint, and Harry Turtledove, James combines meticulous research with engaging storytelling. When he’s not writing or working, he enjoys Jeeping, international travel, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and attending Star Trek conventions.
